Eva Air Hello Kitty Flight

I am so sad. Always wanted to catch the Eva Air Hello Kitty flight that plys between Japan and Taiwan but never had the chance to. Finally, Tubby agreed to take me on this flight this coming Jan where we will be heading to Tokyo anyway.

But alas! Eva Air is withdrawing its Hello Kitty flight!! -_- Their contract with Sanrio ended this Oct. The 2 Hello Kitty jets will be taken out of service, one at a time, first in Dec 08 and then Mar 09. But in the meantime, the interiors have all been changed back to normal, no more Hello Kitty and no more pink cabin crew attire. News updated from reliable sources as well as Tubby's conversation with Eva Air that day when he was trying to make the booking.

Haiz .. well then ... I would have loved to at least received my pink boarding passes, sat on Hello Kitty upholstered seats and be served Hello Kitty bentos! Would have loved to use their Hello Kitty amenities .. Haiz .. Tubby say maybe there will be a comeback since Hello Kitty is slowly 'conquering' the world, maybe next time with SIA? Ya, i hope too .. then i can have sis steal me some cabin stuffs, but till then, well ...
